Dan Lifferth has been promoted to senior vice president, chief administrative officer. He has been with the bank for more than a decade, most recently serving as senior vice president-human resources. He will continue to oversee human resources, but will add branch administration, community development and administrative services to his portfolio.
The promotion took effect in October as part of the bank’s executive succession plan after Christopher J. Murphy III’s transition to executive chairman. Andrea G. Short was also promoted to CEO of the bank and president & CEO of its holding company, and Kevin C. Murphy was promoted to president of the bank.
Lifferth joined the bank in 2015. Since then he has been responsible for implementing employee engagement and leadership development improvements, including the Bank’s LEAD and engaging manager programs; improvements to the bank’s early-career pipelines; saw the bank through the COVID-19 pandemic; and led the transition of core HR platforms.
He earned a bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University, an MBA from Ohio State University, and completed the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania.
