Trevor Smith will be promoted to president of STAR Bank’s Columbia City market effective May 1 as his predecessor, David Smith, retires April 30. Trevor joined the Fort Wayne-headquartered bank’s commercial team in May 2023.
He co-founded and serves as chief financial officer for Team Focus Basketball, a developmental AAU basketball program serving Fort Wayne and nearby areas. Trevor also volunteers with the Salvation Army and Hope’s Harbor.
Trevor earned his associate degree and a bank management certificate from Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne.
