Michelle Maravilla has been promoted to senior vice president, chief human resources officer, at Centier Bank, Merrillville.
She has been with the bank for nearly 20 years, starting in 2006 as a temporary associate to help train new hires. She joined the bank full-time in learning and development before moving to the recruitment team, getting promoted to human resources manager and, most recently, senior vice president-human resources.
Maravilla also leads the bank’s diversity advisory council, is a member of SHRM (the Society of Human Resources Management) and numerous other professional organizations.
She earned a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Purdue University-Calumet (now Purdue University Northwest).
