Martin Bales has joined JCBank, Semour, as vice president, commercial banker. He has more than 40 years of banking experience, focused in commercial credit spanning real estate lending, equipment financing and working capital solutions. In his new position, Bales is focused on expanding the bank’s commercial footprint and driving business growth throughout Johnson County.
“Martin brings the rare combination of deep commercial credit experience and a long track record of building trusted relationships with business owners,” said David Richardson, the bank’s chief commercial lending officer.
Outside the bank, Bales serves on the board of the United Way of Johnson County and served as an adjunct accounting instructor at Indiana Wesleyan University and Ivy Tech Community College. He holds both an MBA and a bachelor’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan.
