Kevin C. Murphy has been promoted to president of 1st Source Bank, South Bend.
The move comes as part of the institution’s executive succession plan. Andrea G. Short was simultaneously promoted to president of the bank’s holding company and CEO of both the bank and holding company, and Christopher J. Murphy III transitioned to executive chairman.
Kevin Murphy started in the bank’s IT department, later moving to Treasury products and services, then serving as president of the bank’s central region; chief information officer; group head of IT, electronic banking, marketing and digital strategy; and, most recently, executive vice president and chief digital officer of both the bank and its holding company since 2022.
Kevin earned a bachelor’s degree from Wittenberg University, a second bachelor’s from DeVry University and completed Notre Dame’s executive MBA program.
