Josh Baker, business banker at 1st Source Bank, South Bend, completed the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. He has nearly 20 years of experience in the banking industry, including two at 1st Source. In addition to his training at GSB-Colorado, Baker earned a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University’s Miller College of Business.
Baker was among 134 banking professionals who graduated from the program, which is in its 75th year. It’s an immersive banking education focused on leadership, strategy, lending, financial management and the forces shaping the future of community banking. Throughout the program, students apply what they learn to their organizations, strengthening their ability to make informed decisions, lead teams and navigate an evolving banking environment.
Outside the bank, Baker is heavily involved in his community with prior board service with the Grant County Economic Growth Council, Habitat for Humanity of Grant County, Gilead House and the Family Service Society. He has also served on the Business Growth Council at the Muncie-Delaware County Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Marion North Rotary.
