North Salem State Bank appointed Jeff Joyce, its chief financial officer, to its board of directors effective January 1, 2026. He has more than 20 years of leadership experience in community banking and financial services.

“I’ve had the privilege of knowing Jeff for a long time and we were fortunate several years ago to be able to add his decades of banking experience to the NSSB executive team as CFO. Jeff has earned his spot on the NSSB Board of Directors, and we look forward to his leadership and commitment for years to come! Congratulations Jeff!” President and CEO Matt Howery stated.

His prior experience includes being a founding member of Heartland Community Bank in Johnson County, where he also served as CFO for 15 years. Before moving into the banking sector, he gathered experience in public accounting, auditing and consulting with financial institutions at Crowe, and later co-founded Cross Financial Services in 2012, providing investment advisory and outsourced CFO services.

Joyce holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Series 65 securities license.

Outside the bank, Joyce serves on the boards of DREAM Alive and United Way of Johnson County and supports several other nonprofit organizations, including the Johnson County Community Foundation, Central Indiana Police Foundation, and Crossway Bible Church in Franklin.
