Five new honorees were inducted as Leaders in Banking Excellence, the Association’s highest honor. The Class of 2022 includes one of the first female bank presidents in the state, a fifth-generation banker and multiple Sagamore of the Wabash honorees.
Does Indiana Law recognize cryptocurrency?
Indiana law with respect to cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin, is in its infancy. A new law that became effective July 1, however, created a basic framework for establishing a security interest in a controllable electronic record that may be used to establish an interest in cryptocurrencies in the future, but unfortunately not today.
