Achim Griesel has transitioned to president emeritus of Haberfield as part of its long-term succession plan, and Sean Payant, Ph.D., has been promoted to president.
Payant began as a consultant with the company in 2007, rising through the ranks, most recently serving as senior executive vice president, chief strategy officer. Payant is an active faculty member at both the Pacific Coast Banking School in Seattle and the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking in Philadelphia.
Griesel started with the company as an account executive before holding a variety of leadership positions, eventually being named president in 2016. He will continue to serve on the company’s board of directors.
