Tara Minix has joined Horizon Bank, Michigan City, as a mortgage loan originator. She has previous experience in retail banking, including as a branch manager and mortgage loan originator, and is licensed in 22 states. In her new role, she will focus on home purchase loans, refinancing, construction loans and lot loans.
Minix has been recognized with the Circle of Excellence Award and named a top five lender and top five referral leader for the past five years.
She is an active member of the North Central Indiana REALTORS® Association and serves as treasurer for the Knox Community Athletic Boosters Club, volunteers with Junior Achievement and is a member of the Starke County Scholarship Board.
Minix earned her bachelor’s degree from Purdue University-North Central.
