Sherri Chaney has joined STAR Bank, Fort Wayne, as senior trust officer. In this role, she will administer trusts and estates, work closely with clients and their advisors, and help ensure that fiduciary responsibilities are carried out with diligence, integrity and care. She will also play a key role in guiding families through long-term wealth planning and trust management strategies.
Chaney has spent over 30 years in the trust and wealth management industry, developing a reputation for thoughtful client service and careful fiduciary oversight. Throughout her career, she has worked with high-net-worth families, attorneys, and financial professionals to administer trusts, manage distributions, and help preserve family legacies across generations.
Beyond her professional experience, Chaney is deeply involved in the Fort Wayne community, currently serving on the boards of the Fort Wayne Estate Planning Council for eight years and Creative Women of the World for three years. Additionally, she previously served on the board of Fort Wayne Centers for Learning and committees at Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.

Chaney earned a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University. She holds the Certified Trust Financial Advisor (CTFA) and Certified Securities Operations Professional (CSOP) designations and is Series 7 and Series 63 licensed.
