Maria Parrish has joined Horizon Bank, Michigan City, as a community lender. She has 15 years of lending experience.
Parrish is responsible for identifying, acquiring and expanding mortgage loan financing opportunities throughout her area, with a focus on assisting first-time homebuyers and individuals who may face challenges qualifying for a conventional mortgage.
She was named a First in Indiana District Consumer Lending Award recipient in 2023, serves as a Consumer Lending Champion for lending and sales training, and ranked in the top three for lending production in 2025. In addition to her professional work, Parrish remains actively involved in the community as a Broad Ripple Village Association representative.
She earned both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from Indiana State University and maintains a State of Indiana teaching license and an NMLS professional lending license.
