Cory Weaver has been promoted to director of technology operations at STAR Bank, Fort Wayne. He has more than 20 years of IT experience, including 10 with the bank.
In his new role, Weaver will lead the bank’s infrastructure, service desk, IT security and core systems teams. He will leverage his experience managing the bank’s IT infrastructure and serving as a systems architect, which provided him with a deep understanding of the bank’s business operations and strong collaborative relationships across departments.
“Cory has been a foundational member of STAR’s technology team, leading the design and implementation of critical IT infrastructure,” said Brian Avery, the bank’s chief technology officer. “He is uniquely positioned to lead the technology operations department and guide the company in adopting new technologies that enhance both operations and customer experience.”
Weaver holds a master’s degree from Western Governors University.
