K. Lowell Short Jr. recently retired as senior vice president, chief accounting officer for the Federal home Loan Bank of Indianapolis.

K. Lowell Short Jr., CPA, MBA, was elected to the board of Home Bank, Martinsville, at its May meeting. He recently retired as senior vice president, chief accounting officer for the Federal home Loan Bank of Indianapolis.

Short serves on the boards of Olivet Nazarine University and the Olivet Nazarine University Foundation, and other governance positions for the Indianapolis District Church of the Nazarine, Shepherd Community Center and Sheltering Wings Domestic Abuse Shelter.

He was honored in 2018 with the Layperson “O” Award by the Olivet Nazarine University Alumna Association for representing the ideals of the university and distinction in his professional field.

Short earned a bachelor’s degree from Olivet Nazarine University and an MBA from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
