North Salem State Bank’s annual food drive wrapped up in January, resulting in more than $5,500 and 3,900 food and personal care items being distributed among seven Hendricks County food pantries.
The joint effort between the North Salem State Bank Community Fund and the Robert G. Porter Thank You Fund, both administered through the Hendricks County Community Foundation, distributed a total of $5,662.25 and the donated items to:
- Light and Life Free Methodist Church, Avon;
- North Salem United Methodist Church;
- North Salem Christian Church;
- Mill Creek Christian Support Center, Clayton;
- Mill Creek Backpack Ministry, Amo;
- St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Plainfield; and
- Shared Blessings Community Food Pantry, Danville.
