Andy Murray joined the board of directors for the First State Bank of Middlebury in January.
Recently retired after a 30-year career in the recreational vehicle industry, Murray brings extensive business leadership experience and a strong commitment to community service. He held leadership roles at Lippert Components from 2003-2023 and Coachmen Industries from 1994-2003, developing expertise in strategy, governance and organizational growth that will support the bank’s long-term vision.
“Andy brings a unique blend of business expertise and servant leadership to our Board,” said D. Joe Caffee, president & CEO of First State Bank. “His experience building strong organizations, combined with his heart for this community, aligns perfectly with our mission and values.”
Following his retirement, Murray now focuses full-time on serving the community, with a passion for organizations supporting children and families through generational change and education, including board service at Child and Parent Services (CAPS), Center for Hospice Care, Lifeline Youth Ministries, Habitat for Humanity of Elkhart County, First Light Mission and Granger Community Church.
Murray holds a bachelor’s degree from Valparaiso University.
