Horizon Bank came together for its third annual Horizon Cares Day on Tuesday, Sept. 16. For one day each year, all branches close to allow employees the chance to dedicate their time to the neighborhoods they serve.
This year, nearly 800 employees volunteered with more than 80 nonprofit organizations across Indiana and Michigan. From food pantries and assisting at shelters to lending a hand at Habitat for Humanity sites, the projects focused on meeting local needs and creating lasting impact.
As part of Horizon Cares Day, there was also an awards program where eight employees were honored with Community Service and Leadership awards, recognizing their exceptional dedication and highlighting those who go above and beyond in serving others.
