Brian O’Meara has been promoted to executive vice president, chief administrative officer at Centier Bank, Merrillville. He has more than 30 years of banking and leadership experience, including two and a half with Centier.
Based out of the bank’s Merrillville headquarters, he oversees its marketing, digital sales, customer experience, community relations, call center and strategic planning & execution teams. In his new role, O’Meara will be responsible for leading Centier’s integrated strategy for growth, customer experience and brand engagement.
“I joined Centier two and a half years ago as the first Chief Marketing Officer in the bank’s 130-year history and have loved being able to work with and empower our talented associates,” O’Meara said. “I look forward to continuing to work across the organization to support the bank as we scale beyond $10 billion in assets.”
“Brian’s work on our leadership team has been invaluable to the bank, and he is well deserving of this new position,” said Chris Campbell, the bank’s president. “His expertise will be pivotal in Centier’s future as we head into our next chapter and continue to grow to serve all of Indiana.”
O’Meara supports many charitable organizations throughout Northwest Indiana, and looks forward to taking on more active leadership roles with community groups.
