Brian Duba has been promoted to general counsel and secretary for 1st Source Bank, South Bend, and its holding company. He retains his officer status of senior vice president.
Duba has served as deputy general counsel since September 2024 with broad legal experience in banking, industrial production, real estate and private practice as a corporate attorney.
He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky and his juris doctorate from the University of Kentucky College of Law.
Duba’s predecessor, John Griffith, will remain with the bank and its holding company, retaining his status as executive vice president, chief risk officer.
