Shelli Workman has been promoted to group head of business banking for 1st Source Bank, South Bend. She joined the bank in 2012, most recently serving as regional president for the bank’s Central and Michigan regions.
Workman has more than 30 years of banking experience, including with commercial real estate. She also helped start the bank’s solar financing division in 2015. In her new role, Workman will oversee all business bankers, Treasury services, SBA/small business, solar financing, retirement plan services and business banking services.
Workman is active in her community, currently serving on the boards of the South Bend Regional Chamber, Economic Club, Junior Achievement and Indiana University-South Bend’s Chancellor’s Advisory Board.
She earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University-South Bend and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
