James C. Ryan III, chairman and CEO of Old National Bank, Evansville, and its holding company, Old National Bancorp, has been named chair of the American Bankers Association’s American Bankers Council for the 2024-25 membership year. He started a three-year term on ABA’s board of directors in 2023.
Ryan serves as immediate past chair of the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership, vice president of the Evansville Regional Business Committee, vice chairman of Deaconess Health System Inc., a board member for Golf Gives Back and the Mid-Size Bank Coalition of America, and a member of the Southwest Indiana Regional Development Authority and the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership Inc.
