Andrea G. Short, who was serving as CEO of 1st Source Bank, South Bend, and president of its holding company, was promoted to both president and CEO of the holding company effective Oct. 1, maintaining her CEO position with the bank.
The move comes as part of the institution’s executive succession plan as Christopher J. Murphy III simultaneously transitioned to executive chairman.
Short graduated from Alma College with additional training in strategy development at the University of Chicago, marketing at Northwestern University and the advanced management program at Harvard Business School. She also holds the certified public accountant designation.
