The Farmers Bank, Frankfort, officially broke ground on its newest Noblesville branch in July. The location will become the bank’s 12th full-service banking center and second in Noblesville.

The 2,866-square-foot, single-story building will feature the state’s second Smartflower, a dynamic solar-powered energy system that adjusts to track the sun in order to support the building’s energy needs. The branch is expected to open in the second quarter of 2026.

One week after the Noblesville groundbreaking, The Farmers Bank cut the ribbon on its renovated headquarters and financial center in Frankfort. The project represented the bank’s most significant investment and renovation in its 149-year history.

More than 200 community members, former and retired employees, local government officials and civic leaders attended the event. They were then invited inside to tour several floors and enjoy refreshments provided by local vendors Angry Donkey, Shoup’s Country Foods, Slabby’s, Glover’s Ice Cream and Barb Gerald’s Cookies.
