Bippus State Bank celebrated the completion of its new 15,000-square-foot operations center in downtown Huntington with a ribbon-cutting in September. The two-story, state-of-the-art facility brings the bank’s regional staff together under one roof, reinforcing their long-standing commitment to serving the community and providing customer-first banking services.

IBA associate member Design Collaborative, Fort Wayne, served as the architect for the project, overseeing both the design and construction of the facility. The new building combines function and form, featuring a modern yet timeless design that reflects the Bippus brand. The exterior pairs warm brick with sleek metal panel accents, while the interior offers a large training room and a mix of private offices, open workstations, and collaborative areas that improve operational efficiency while creating a comfortable and productive environment for staff.
At the heart of the operations center is a two-story entry and community hub that’s filled with natural light, designed to energize employees and foster connection.
“This space is all about bringing people together—whether it’s team members collaborating or connecting with the greater community,” said Jared Monce, project manager and financial market leader at Design Collaborative. “The building reflects the culture and mission of Bippus with a focus on wellness, flexibility, and service for both staff and customers.”
In addition to the Huntington operations center, Design Collaborative and Bippus teamed up to build a new branch on the north side of Fort Wayne. Scheduled to open by the end of 2025, the new branch will support residents and businesses in northern Allen County with their financial needs.
